At the Insurance Institute of Michigan, getting information quickly to members, consumers, legislators and the media is paramount.

The government affairs and public information association represents more than 90 property/casualty insurance companies and related organizations that operate in Michigan.

The institute’s new web site shows how seriously they take that charge.

Lansing web developer i2Integration has created an entirely new look and feel for the web site – www.iiminfo.org -- and redesigned it with DotNetNuke content management capabilities, which has made updating and modifications a snap.

“We can keep (the web site) very timely, being able to make the changes ourselves,” said IIM Communications Director Lori Conarton.

Also added are several new sections: a fact book that offers information and statistics on insurance in Michigan, a section on auto and homeowners insurance and a section that contains all brochures and poster contest fliers, which can be downloaded, as well as information about how insurance impacts the economy.
